RTN ( ROSTEKHNADZOR ) Approvals required in Industry-hazardous areas, during flammable and exploitive processes and usage of related equipment and all other fields which may cause danger for human being and ecology.

 

RTN Approval is a kind of permission to use equipment or to perform the process which is generally defined above.

 

RTN Permit to Use known as GGTN ( GOSGORTEKHNADZOR ) till the 2004 year, recently carried on to the federal platform of Russia and its name changed to the RTN ( ROSTEKHNADZOR ).    

 

Main fields which required RTN Approval :

• Valves and similar products used in Oil Industry, Rafineries and gas systems.

• Load and Passenger Lifts, Escalators

• Industrial and Construction Cranes, Elevators

• Air and Gas Compressors

• Pressure Vessels

• All systems which is containing, producing and transporting hot steam

• Electro-mechanical equipment which required Ex-Proof, ATEX properties

• Special storage Units : Liquid Gas and fuel storage, other storages which contains flammable and exploitive materials

• Heat Generators by using gas or fuel burners in the process, high temperature resources

• Dangerous welding processes and related equipment

• All equipment which is used in Oil Industry, Rafineries

• Mining Industry and underground processes, equipment

• Melting and forming processes of the metals

Types of Certification Scheme :

RTN ( ROSTEKHNADZOR ) Permit to Use, issued for single shipment or serial production ( for 3 years ).

For a certain product, various RTN Approvals may issued due to place of use. As an example, if a valve will be used in a gas station, certain parameters are taken into consideration, expertising report prepared and submitted for approval. A different RTN approval can be issued according different requirements for the same valve if it is used in a oil rafinery. The place of use of the product carries great importance for RTN.

Steps of RTN Certification Process:

In many cases, to get RTN Approval, GOST Certification will be asked as a priority. These two different processes can be performed in the same time. For RTN Processes, more than sample testing, technical characteristics and engineering calculations of the product will be checked by the experts.

RTN Approval may issued for products, for product lines or for framed production processes.

1. Fill our GOST Application Form . One of our representatives will contact you as soon as possible.

2. Your commercial requirements and subject products will be evaluated and you will receive a detailed quotation including all terms, price and process steps related for your RTN Approval.

3. Please send us existing GOST and other Quality Certificates such as ISO 9000 and others,

4. Product samples are not required. However, detailed technical documentation and engineering details will be asked during the process. These material will be evaluated, Passport and Expertise Report will be prepared by the experts.

5. After our official application with all of the documents to RTN Body in Moscow on behalf of your company, this approval will be issued. 

6. Your original RTN Approvals will be sent to your postal address by fast courier.

All process may remain till 60 days, it is very important to order RTN on time.
